![]() ![]() I speak French, I understand spoken English but I can't stand French or English dubs for non English art. Dubs in other languages (Franch, Italian.) tend to sucks even more than English. English dubs are useless for non native English speakers. Sorry but westerner DOES NOT EQUAL English. After all, it's more faithful than the sub in tone. By its nature, the dub should be superior for most subbers. It takes place in the west, with none of the case being Japanese(to my recollection). I'd argue that Baccano should be, on principle, an exception for most subbers. I for one don't mind dubs, and it's largely preferential on which is better. Also, I'd like to see just how fluent you are, considering that you're just repeating what every other English dub defender says over and over again, and are acting as if piracy is some kind of cardinal sin for a demographic that watches anime and plays games that can't legally be purchased in English. ![]() I'm finding I mute most Japanese game voices nowadays, dub or sub. You know though it actually sucks being fluent in Japanese as I can recognize how bad both performances are in most dual audio media. If English isn't your native language an English dub isn't any better than the original language for comprehension. Other than that you do raise a very good point that I did bring up earlier.
